Day 1 Arrival Yangon

  Upon arrival to Yangon International Airport, you are welcomed by your local Tour Guide and transferred to your Hotel in Yangon. After refreshment, a brief City Tour which includes; down town Yangon to see Sule Pagoda, City Hall, Independent monument and old Colonial buildings. Stop at Strand Hotel: the 1901-built three-storey 5 star hotel in Yangon remains one of Southeast Asia’s few grand colonial hotels and one of its most awe-inspiring. Visit to Botahtaung Pagoda: a landmark on the Yangon River with remarkable hollow type of relic chamber. Later, stop at China Town noted for its fruit markets and delicious street foods. Later on, visit the magnificent Shwe Dagon Pagoda, one of the wonders in the world, noted for its religious significance and artistic beauty. Welcome Dinner at a local Restaurant and overnight at the Hotel in Yangon.

Day 2 : Yangon-Heho (by Flight)- Pindaya -Kalaw

  Today, we are flying to Heho. After Breakfast in Hotel, you are transferred to Yangon Airport for departure flight to Heho. Upon arrival to Heho, we are driving to Pindaya; a small quiet town in Shan Plateau, famous for its Caves which enshrined centuries old Buddha Images and the Legendry Pon-ta-lote Lake.

Sightseeing includes: Pindaya Caves, parasol & Shan traditional paper making industries. Lunch at Green Tea Restaurant in Pindaya. Later on, drive to Kalaw : a beautiful colonial hill station surrounded by mountains. It is a peaceful summer resort with fragrant pine woods. The road from Kalaw to Pindaya (38 km) passes through a countryside of magnificent scenic beauty. There are Palaung villages nearby and hill tribes’ people in their colorful costumes can be seen at Kalaw Market which is held on every five days. Evening is at your own. You may explore around the small town.Enjoy the climate of the hill station. Dinner and overnight in Kalaw.

Day 3 : Kalaw Elephant Camp – Inle Lake


This morning, after breakfast in your Hotel, your driver will pick you up from your Hotel and drive to “Magwe” Elephant Camp, approxi: 45mins drive from your hotel in Kalaw. Upon arrival to Green Hill Valley Elephant Camp, you are welcomed by the GHV team and informed about their project. After refreshments, 10 minutes trekking to the river where elephant’s bath and you can join in feeding and bathing the elephants. You may have an experience of riding on elephant’s back like Mahout: elephant-trainer, after washing them (It depends on the weather and health condition of the elephants at the Camp).

Exploration of the forest area, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids around the conservation area. Lunch will be served at the main camp. You are also invited to plant a regional tree from the nursery in order to the forest recovery efforts. Return to main camp and enjoy the view through valley. Later in the late afternoon, drive back to Kalaw.

Upon arrival to Kalaw, you are transferred to Inle Lake, about 2 Hour-drive. Check in at the Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 4 : Excursion Inle lake by boat

  This early morning, after your breakfast in your Hotel, your local tour guide will take you introductory Inle Lake Excursion tour. If your hotel is located in Khaung Daing , the excursion starts with a visit to Khaung Daing Village to observe tofu making.

Later on, boat excursion to Floating Market; a 5-day-rotating market in the Lake, where local people sell their own products from the floating farms. Next, tour proceeds to Nam Pan village to see traditional mild-cigar –making (cheroot Factory) and observe the carpenters’ work at their Boat building workshops .Proceeds to Ywa-ma Village to observe Traditional Silver and Gold Smith making.

Later, to Phaung Daw Oo Temple; where the five sacred Buddha Images are treasured .Proceed to Inn-paw-khon village to observe Silk, cotton & Lotus fabric weaving cottage industries with their own showrooms. Lunch at a local Restaurant in the lake. Tour proceeds to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery; famous for its centuries old Shrines and amazing tame cats. Later, observe black-smith workshop at Se Kaung Village .

The excursion tour ends in the late afternoon. If you stay at a hotel in Nyaung Shwe, we are driving to Red Mountain Vineyard, to explore local vineyard & winery and have a red & white wine-tasting. Enjoy the scenery of neighborhood .Return to hotel and in the evening, dinner at the Restaurant in your Hotel and overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 5 : Inle – Taunggyi – Kakku Temples – Htam Pagoda – Vineyard

This morning, after your breakfast in your Hotel, we are driving to Taunggyi: “the capital city of Southern Shan State” in the eastern part of Myanmar, is known for its scenic beauty and pleasant climate. Being situated over 1400 meters above the sea-level, it is cool the whole year round and the area is colorful with lovely flowers, pine trees and green orchards (42 km, 1 Hour-drive). Upon arrival to Taunggyi, check in at the Hotel and after refreshments, we are driving to Kakku (53 km south of Taunggyi, 2 ½ Hour-drive) .For many years the area around Kakku was closed for foreigners, it was only opened a short while ago for tourists.In the 13th century during the reign of the Bagan‘s King Alaungsitthu, 2500 small pagodas were built on a very small area. The majority of these buildings are still intact and the pagodas are until today a destination for Buddhist piety. They are built in the typical Shan style and are richly decorated. On the way back to Taunggyi visit Htam Pagoda which located at Hti Han village. There are about 200 pagodas which dated to 17th Century AD and inside are the Buddha images of several sizes.Upon arrival back to Taunggyi, have lunch at a local restaurant.After Lunch, we are going to visit Taunggyi Culture Museum; It is an ethnographic Museum which contains colorful dress of national groups, their weapons and utilities in addition to the dress of the late Shan Dukes. Open from 9:30 Am to 3:30 Pm except Saturday and Sunday. Later on, visit Aye Tharyar Vineyard, which is located at the foot of the Taunggyi hilltop. White and red wines are now produced by a German expert. Evening, Dinner and overnight in Taunggyi.

Day 6 : Taunggyi -Heho –Yangon (by Flight)

This morning, we are going to visit Taunggyi Market: It is the most fascinating place to watch the daily life of the minorities and their activities. One will be un-forgettable to see the flock of the tribe’s or ethnic people who come down to the market to sell their luscious vegetables, fruits, and flowers at every five days market. Later on, you are transferred to Heho Airport for your departure Flight to Yangon.

Upon arrival to Yangon, you are picked up by our tour Guide and transferred to your hotel in Yangon, on the way visit, Ah Baya Larba Muni Buddha Image; which is carved out of a single block of white Marble stone and visit rare & sacred White Elephants of Myanmar.

Check in at the hotel and, after refreshments, you may go shopping at Bo Gyoke Aung San Market (Ex-Scott’s market) for shopping Souvenirs. Evening, Farewell Dinner and overnight in Yangon.

Day 7 : Departure Yangon


This morning, if your international flight is in the morning & afternoon, you will be transferred to Yangon International Airport for your return international departure flight, after breakfast in your hotel.

If your departure flight is in the evening: this morning, you may go shopping at Bo Gyoke Aung San Market (Ex-Scott’s market) for shopping Souvenirs. After lunch, you are transferred to Yangon International Airport for your Departure Flight.
