Upon arrival to Yangon Airport, you are welcomed by our company’s Tour Guide and transferred to your Hotel. After refreshments, your Guide will take you to a brief Yangon City Tour which includes: down town Yangon; to see colonial old buildings, Town Hall, former High Court and the Independence Monument. Later, stop at China Town; famous for its fruits venders and bustling night market, various food stalls and watery Chinese traditional foods. Tour Proceeds to The Majestic Shwedagon; one of the wonders in the world and which towering the city almost 100 meters above the sky line. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant, the dinner is served with fine Burmese food. Overnight at the Hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon- Inle Lake (By Flight)-Pindaya – Kalaw

Today, we are flying to Heho. After Breakfast in Hotel, you are transferred to Yangon airport for departure flight to Heho. Upon arrival to Heho, we are driving to Pindaya; a small quiet town in Shan Plateau, famous for its Caves which enshrined centuries old Buddha Images, the Legendry Lake and two hundred years old huge Banyan trees.

Sightseeing includes: Pindaya Caves, parasol & Shan traditional paper making industries. Lunch at a local restaurant in Pindaya. Later on, drive to Kalaw : a beautiful British colonial hill station surrounded by mountains. It is a peaceful summer resort with fragrant pine woods. The road from Kalaw to Pindaya (38 km) passes through a countryside of magnificent scenic beauty. There are Palaung villages nearby and hill tribes’ people in their colorful costumes can be seen at Kalaw market which is held on every five days. Evening is at your own. Enjoy the climate of the hill station. Dinner and overnight in Kalaw.

Day  3: Kalaw-Elephant Camp-Inle

This morning, after breakfast in your Hotel, your driver will pick you up from your Hotel and drive to Magwe Elephant Camp, approxi: 45mins drive from your hotel in Kalaw. Upon arrival to Green Hill Valley Elephant Camp, you are welcomed by the GHV team and informed about their project. After refreshments, 10 minutes trekking to the river where elephant’s bath and you can join in feeding and bathing the elephants. You may have an experience of riding on elephant’s back like Mahout: elephant-trainer, after washing them (It depends on the weather and health condition of the elephants at the Camp).

Exploration of the forest area, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids around the conservation area. Lunch will be served at the main camp. You are also invited to plant a regional tree from the nursery in order to the forest recovery efforts. Return to main camp and enjoy the view through valley. Later in the late afternoon, drive back to Kalaw.

Upon arrival to Kalaw, you are transferred to Inle Lake, about 2 Hr drive. Check in at the Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 4: Inle Lake Boat Excursion

  This early morning, after your breakfast in your Hotel, your local Tour Guide will take you introductory Inle Lake Excursion tour. First to Floating Market; a 5-day-rotating market in the Lake, where local people sell their own products from floating farms. Later, to Phaung Daw Oo Temple; where five sacred Buddha Images are treasured and proceed to  Indein : one of the small villages of Inlay Lake located on the western bank of the lake to see Shwe Indein Pagodas :cluster of hundreds of ancient stupas most are ruins overgrown with bushes. This mysterious place is at the end of the marvelous Indein creek, which connected with Inlay Lake just after the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. The creek is narrow with many twist and turns. Since the both sides are paddy fields you can see the farmers ploughing and harrowing by water buffaloes. Drop in at a local primary school to observe how children are studying in this rural area.

Later on, boat excursion to Inpawkhon village to observe silk, cotton& Lotus fabric weaving cottage industries with their own showrooms. Lunch at a local Restaurant in the lake. Tour proceeds to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery; famous for its centuries old Shrines and amazing tame cats. Next, proceeds to observe black-smith shop at Se Kaung Village to see traditional mild-cigar –making (cheroot Factory).Proceeds to Ywa-ma Village to observe Traditional Silver and Gold Smith making. The excursion tour ends in the late afternoon. Evening, dinner at the Restaurant in your Hotel and overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 5: Inle Lake- Mandalay (By Flight) – Amarapura – Mandalay Hill

Early morning, check out hotel and you are transferred to Heho Airport to catch Flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival to Mandalay, you are welcomed by our Company’s local tour Guide and he will take you to ancient capital Amarapura; which means the city of Immortality .visit to two-century old U-Bein teak bridge across the Taungthaman Lake, weaving industries, and later on, observe the lunch process of thousands of monks who take their last meal of the day at 10:00 am in total silence at Maha Gandaryon Monastery.

Mandalay is the last capital of Myanmar and that make her to be the best place to see all the traditional Arts and Crafts. Start visiting gold leaf making work-place and see how the gold leaf is being made by hand in a traditional way. Next, visit to Maha Muni, a life like Buddha image and the most sacred Temple in Upper Myanmar.

Lunch at a local Restaurant. Later in the late afternoon, visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s largest book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the Buddha’s Doctrine; Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Attumashi Monastery and enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill. Later on, go down the Hill to catch the evening prayers at Shwe Kyin Kyaung Monastery. Dinner at a local restaurant and later on enjoy Marionette Show in Mandalay. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day 6: Mandalay-on board R.V Paukan Cruise

Today after breakfast in your hotel, you will be transferred to Gaw Wein Jetty to board in RV. Paukkan overnight River Cruise to Bagan; which was named after the ancient name of Bagan. RV.Paukan was built in2007 at the Myanmar Shipyards in Yangon for Ayravata Cruises. This lovely Paukan is a boutique hotel on the river, beautifully furnished with a unique combination of modern and traditional motifs.

The embarkation time is at 12 noon at Gaw Wein jetty. Welcome Cocktail in the Saloon. Cast off time is at 12:30 hrs. Lunch will be served at 13.00. The sailing time is about 2 hrs. Paukan Cruise manager will assist the guests during the visit of the Mingoon :situated about 11 km upstream from Mandalay on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River, Mingun is noted for its huge unfinished pyramid like pagoda and 90-ton bell, supposed to be the Largest ringing bell in the world Myatheintan Pagoda, the representation of the Buddhists’ belief in Universe. In the late afternoon, moor overnight at a sandbank mid-stream. After dinner guests can enjoy a Dance and Drama performance by the Mandalay Arts School on the sundeck (if available).

Day 7: Mingun – Sagaing –River Village

Early in the morning cruise downstream. During the 2 hours journey the passengers can admire the natural beauty of the river and the life of its banks while relaxing on the sundeck or just sitting outside their own cabin. Enjoy the sunrise over Sagaing Hill. After breakfast passengers can go ashore to visit Sagaing with your local tour guide and private bus. Sagaing lies 21 km south-west of Mandalay on the west bank of the Ayeyarwady River. Sagaing Hills are known as a religious retreat where over 400 monasteries for monks and nuns are located for Buddhist studies and meditation. Visit Umin Thonze pagoda and Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin pagoda. Behold the panoramic view of Mandalay. Later, visit to Kaung Hmu Daw Phaya about 10 km from Sagaing; built by King Tharlon in 1636, with the unique model of Maha Zede Temple in Si-lone (Sri Lankha). There is also Ywa-Htaung village known for its silversmiths.

The cast off time is at 10.30 hrs. Lunch will be served at 13.00. In the late afternoon we stop at Yandabo, a village specialize in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826. Cruise all day and moor overnight near the village of Shwe Nann Tint.

Day 8: Arrival Bagan and Sightseeing

Early in the morning the cruise continues downstream to Bagan. After breakfast (if time permits) we visit another typical river village. Enjoy the sunrise near Bagan. Passengers will disembark at Aye Yar jetty around 9:30 hrs.

Upon arrival in Bagan , you are welcomed by your local Tour Guide and he will take you to the introductory Bagan tour, which highlights: visit to interesting local Nyaung Oo Market  and famous temples, such as; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas. Later on visit to Soya Bean Paste Production site to observe how local food is being made .Tour proceeds to Kyansittha Umin; Wet-kyi-inn Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century, Hti-lo-min-lo; 1211 AD, one of the largest temples, noted for its fine plaster carvings on the arch pediments, frieze and pilaster. Photo stop at Kay Min Kha, cluster of temples, proceed to Ananda Temple, 1090 AD, master piece of early style of temple-architecture with four hugh Buddha Images in standing position. Anada Brick Monastery; with its 18th century paintings depicting Buddha’s life and elements of the history of Bagan.

Check in at the hotel and Lunch at a local Restaurant. After lunch, visit to a Lacquer ware workshop, to observe the process of making a lacquer ware and its showroom. Afternoon, tour proceed to Dhamayan Gyi; the most massive temple among other temples in Bagan and to Sulamani Temple; with some of Bagan’s finest ornamental work which are carved stucco on moldings’, pediments and pilasters. We will take a horse cart ride to Shwe San Daw Temple for Sun-set watch.  Dinner and overnight in Bagan.

Day 9: Balloon Over Bagan – Mt.Popa

This early morning, start your day with a magnificent flight by a hot air Balloon over Bagan, you are transferred from your Hotel to the Balloons launch site Estimated time: between 05:30 Am and 06:00 Am. And you are served with the light Breakfast while the Balloons are being inflated: between 06:00 Am and 06:30 Am. The Balloons take off at round about 06:30 Am, it is depending on the sun rise time.

The balloons over Bagan flight will give you a unique opportunity to see this ancient kingdom, as it has never been seen before! Just like a bird would see and wherever the wind takes you! You may see Bagan waking up in the morning. You will see many temples in the distance and get an aerial view of Bagan; the stunning archeological site of 2000 pagodas. Imagine floating over thousand year old pagodas and the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River, as the sun rises slowly behind distant mountains. The magic of Bagan has inspired visitors to Myanmar for centuries. One of the most remarkable sights in Asia, ancient temples dot the landscape as far as the eye can see. Flying hour -45 minutes to 1 hr, depending on the wind direction on that morning Balloon’s flight. The pilot guides the balloon at speeds not exceeding 15 miles per hour over the blanket of 1,000-year-old pagodas and the Ayeyarwaddy River below. The Flight landing at between 07:15 Am and 07:30 Am. Celebratory champagne & flight certificate between 07:30 Am and 08:00 Am. Later, you are transferred back to your Hotel.(Optional)

After breakfast in your hotel, leave Bagan temples behind, and drive to Mt Popa, about 1 Hr drive. On the way, stop at road side villages to observe how jaggery is made out of toddy palm juice. Climb up the stairs to reach the top of the Cliff, learn the Nat Shrines that line the walk along with the monkeys that live on the mountain and the Cult of Myanmar People from your local Tour Guide. Upon arrival to the top, enjoy the glorious views of central plain region. Lunch at Popa Mountain Resort Hotel.

After lunch, return to Bagan about 1 hr drive. Upon arrival to Bagan, late afternoon is at leisure. Later on, you are transferred to Dandaree Culture Show with Buffet Dinner(Optional).

Day 10: Bagan-Yangon (By Flight)-Golden Rock

After breakfast, you are transferred to Nyaung Oo Airport for the departure flight to Yangon.

Upon arrival to Yangon Airport, your local tour Guide will welcome back you and leave Yangon for Kyaik-hti-yo, about 160 km from Yangon, about 5 Hours’ Drive. The Golden Rock Pagoda stands on a gold gilded boulder precariously perched on the edge of the hill, which is 1102 meters above the sea-level.

On the way to Bago, stop at Guardian of Golden Banyan Tree, and The Htauk Kyant War Memorial Cemetery with 27,000 stone-graves of Commonwealth and Allied Forces Fallen Soldiers in the Myanmar Campaign during the WW2 .Upon arrival to the base-camp, have lunch and transfer to a mountain-going truck to the upper –camp; an exciting truck ride up-hill in the rain forest will be a wonder. Upon arrival to the upper-camp, check in Hotel, rest for a while and Later, visit to the magnificent Golden Rock Platform. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Golden Rock.

Day 11: Golden Rock-Bago-Yangon

Early morning, get up to enjoy the sun-rise (optional).After breakfast, prepare to go down the hill. Upon arrival to the base-camp, drive to Bago: an ancient capital of the Mon Kingdom in 15th Century (approxi: 4 Hr drive).Upon arrival to Bago, have lunch. After Lunch, visit The magnificent Shwe Maw Daw ; over 2,000 years old temple. Later on, visit to ShweTharLyaung (The reclining Buddha); 55 meters long and dating back 994 AD. Famous Kal-yar-ni Sima (Ordination Hall) with 10 huge Stone inscriptions. And Kyaik-Pun four huge seated Buddha Images in the open air.

Late afternoon, drive back to Yangon. Farewell Dinner and overnight at the Hotel in Yangon.

Day 4 DEPARTURE YANGON

This morning, if your international flight is in the morning & afternoon, you will be transferred to Yangon International Airport for your return international departure flight, after breakfast in your hotel.

If your departure flight is in the evening: this morning, you may go shopping at Bo Gyoke Aung San Market (Ex-Scott’s market) for shopping Souvenirs. After lunch, you are transferred to Yangon International Airport for your Departure Flight.
